Public tender for establishing or upgrading electronic business in SMEs in the period 2019-2022 »E-BUSINESS 2019-2022«
As part of the E-BUSINESS 2019-2022 tender, which is co-financed by the Republic of Slovenia and the European Union from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), we at the company Picolin d.o.o. successfully obtained grants for the implementation of the project "Strengthening competences, digitization of marketing and creation of digital tools for expansion to foreign markets in the company Picolin d.o.o. ". As part of the project activities, an external contractor, the company Appoteka d.o.o., set up a website and an online store for us, developed a solution for electronic exchange with partners, produced a product and sales video, and strengthened competencies among employees and management with the help of training in the field of introducing new sales models for sale in foreign markets based on digital content.
As part of the operation, the following measures are implemented:
ELECTRONIC EXCHANGE BETWEEN PARTNERS
A system for importing and exporting files between partners (eDocuments) will be established. A tool will be developed that will allow business partners to log in with the help of authorization (username and password) in the closed part of the site. A tool will be developed to generate a unique XML or other product export file on demand, as well as a tool to quickly set up the data export in the format required by the external partner. A parser will be created to capture prices from XML and CSV files and combine multiple suppliers based on the EAN code of the product. Training for the use of the new system will be carried out.
WEBSITE
An integrated strategy for the company's online presence in foreign markets will be prepared and for the purpose of addressing target users more effectively and improving user experience, the renovation of the website was also carried out. The website will address the main target groups through effective visual and content elements and present the company's products and competitive advantages to them. The website will be created in two different foreign languages. The site will visually convince customers about the quality of products and services with photo and video material. Additional textual content will ensure a better listing in search engines.
ONLINE STORE
The online store will be upgraded, which will include a module for creating B2B offers, which will allow creating offers from products in the catalog, setting rebates, saving the offer and changing the status of the offer. An online shopping cart will be set up, with the help of which the buyer will be able to make the purchase himself. It will also be possible to manage content via an advanced user interface. Consulting will be carried out regarding the logistics framework and suitable application solutions, as well as the preparation of the administrative environment of the store and price lists, as well as digitalized product descriptions. Training will be provided on the operation of the new online store, its functionality and the basics of SEO positioning. The online store will be made in two foreign languages. present the company and the products on offer to customers, a product-sales video will be made. Activities within this measure include script and scenography, filming and post-production, and voice processing. The video will be used to promote the company online, at fairs, digital showrooms and social networks. With the video, we want to attract the attention of potential customers and partners to visit our website. TRAINING
Training of management staff and employees will be carried out in the field of introducing new sales models for sales in foreign markets, which are based on digital content (digital marketing communication, innovations and trends in the digital world). The training will include facts related to paperless business, internet security and potential risks caused by digital business. The regulations that apply to electronic business will be presented. For the management staff, training will be carried out regarding the changes in the systematization of jobs – especially changes related to the opening of new, digital jobs. Contents of data management and automation and optimization of sales and procurement processes will be presented.
The purpose of the operation is to enable the company to actively participate in the international market through the co-financing of eligible costs for the introduction and upgrade of electronic business.
Goal project activities is to increase the company's opportunities to present sales products and services to the international business public and to increase the opportunities for business cooperation with foreign customers and business partners. The goal is to increase the international competitiveness of the company and increase the level of internationalization.
The results of the operation are:
- a website created in two foreign languages,
- created online store in two foreign languages,
- established system for import and export of files between partners,
- created product - sales video in a foreign language,
- implementation of trainings to strengthen competences.
Most of the grants we received for the purpose of implementing the zna&scaron operation ;a 29,365 €
